This is a traditional house with thick stone walls, designed to withstand the hot summers and cold winters of Provence. In winter the house is warm throughout, thanks to modern electric radiators and double pane windows. In summer, the wooden shutters and tiled floors keep things cool and there are fans in each room if it does get warm. The very top floor master bedroom and bathroom are under the roof and so they do have air-conditioning.

We operate entirely self check-in (4pm onwards) and self check-out (up to 11am). This gives you flexibility on your arrival and departure times. We will provide maps and access instructions.

The house is not accessible for persons of reduced mobility as all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the upper floors, reached only by a staircase.

Please ensure you have read our terms of rental.

The accommodation may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility – please contact us to discuss before you book.

Beth bought the house in 2010 after a month long trip to the area turned into a life-long love affair. She spends as much time as possible in her beloved Provence and is delighted to share her slice of paradise with guests when she can’t be there.

The house and all bookings are managed by British couple Jen & Chris Mallon, who live just down the road in the centre of Apt. As permanent local residents they have a wealth of local knowledge and will be happy to help you plan your holiday as well as answer any questions.
