Rustrel

Rustrel

The village

Set in the countryside just ten kilometers north-east of Apt, the village overlooks the valley between the Luberon and the Vaucluse mountains. There are fields of vines, olive trees, fruit trees and the iconic lavender.

Central to the village is a beautiful 17th century château which now serves as the Mairie (town hall). Just a few minutes walk from the house there is the village pool (open in July and August). There is a well stocked local shop, a bakery with cafe/bar and a restaurant. The village has a small market on Wednesday evenings.

The market town of Apt is just 15 minutes away by car, with a wide range of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.
